History

Since its foundation in 1977, Mission has been seen as one of the leading lights in the development of acoustic engineering and applying new technologies to create some of the most exciting and rewarding loudspeaker systems in every sector of the market.

In 1978, Mission Electronics launched the 770 loudspeaker. This revolutionary product featured the world's first commercial polypropylene drive unit. After this, swiftly followed the Mission 700 in 1979 - the first loudspeaker to use the now famous 'inverted driver array'.
